At LoveleeLocs, our Mentor Team is a dedicated group of hair professionals, including Sisterlock-certified consultants, licensed cosmetologists, and passionate leaders who are committed to guiding and uplifting our team. With their expertise, you’ll learn every aspect of becoming a successful stylist—from mastering technical skills to building a loyal clientele. Our mission is to nurture the next generation of LoveleeLocs stylists through mentorship, continuous education, and hands-on support. We want you to focus on your passion—hairdressing—while our management team ensures you have the resources, guidance, and opportunities to thrive in every area of your career.

loctician levels

  • Is in training to increase speed and mastering of lock techniques, natural hair maintenance and retie/retwist time undetermined. This improves time on task. Ongoing professional development in progress.

  • Has completed training and comprehensive understanding of all lock techniques offered. Retie speed averages 3 hours. Ongoing professional development in progress.

  • Is proficient in locking techniques, styles and professional development in natural hair care.

If you are an established stylist with 2+ years experience, we may put you on the floor immediately with one of our stylists mentoring you one day a week.

EDUCATION

At LoveleeLocs, our comprehensive 3-phase training program is designed to reflect our commitment to excellence in hair care. This program will fully prepare you for success in every aspect of locks—from establishment and monthly maintenance to styling, grooming, and building a thriving clientele. With interactive test modules and hands-on learning, you’ll gain the confidence and skills needed to excel. Whether you’re new to the trade or have prior experience, we meet you where you are and help you elevate your craft to the next level, ensuring you’re equipped to deliver the next-level service LoveleeLocs is known for.
